My dream started off in the car with my parents. It was night time, and we were heading west, for some unknown reason. Looking on into the night sky, I witnessed two full moons, the bigger one to the left, and the smaller, one on the right, partially concealed by the clouds. The sky was filled with what appeared to be shooting stars, all of them purple. The pattern of the stars were going in a similar direction, though they appeared scattered, random and uncoordinated. My father contemplated continuing the journey, despite not having enough food, and the decision was made abruptly to continue the journey. We drove until we were in rural territory, along a dirt road with wooden fencing along both sides. Refusing to slow down, my father kept driving past livestock that were on the road, hitting many of the animals. We reached our destination, which was a giant rock in the middle of the desert. Using the light of the night sky, my father buried a toy. No one would answer my questions as to why there were two moons, the purple shooting stars, or the rush to bury a toy.
Dreams often serve as a reflection of our subconscious mind, feelings, and thoughts that we might not be fully aware of during our waking hours. They can contain symbols and scenarios that, when interpreted, can provide insights into our emotions and life situations. Here is a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Traveling in a Car with Parents: The car journey with your parents signifies your life path and the influence of your family on it. The presence of your parents indicates that you are feeling their guidance and perhaps dependency or influence on decisions in your life. Heading west can symbolize moving towards the unknown or new beginnings, as the sun sets in the west, leading to night and the end of a day.
Night Time and Two Moons: Night symbolizes mystery, the unknown, or aspects of life that are hidden from your view. The two moons might signify duality or conflicting emotions. The larger moon could represent a more dominant force or feeling in your life, while the smaller, partially concealed moon signifies something hidden or less acknowledged. Moons also often relate to intuition and emotions, reflecting inner emotional landscapes you may be navigating.
Purple Shooting Stars: Purple is the color of spirituality, creativity, and mystery. Shooting stars symbolize wishes, fleetingness, or rare occurrences. These purple shooting stars might suggest creative ideas or aspirations that seem to be scattered or uncoordinated, but still moving in a cohesive, albeit chaotic, direction. The scattered but purposeful pattern could reflect perceived disorder in pursuing dreams but with an underlying sense of purpose.
Journey and Scarcity: Continuing the journey despite scarce provisions can indicate a feeling of unpreparedness for future challenges, yet a strong desire or determination to continue along your chosen path. The decision made by your father might point to external pressures or influences impacting your sense of security or readiness.
Rural Territory and Hitting Livestock: Driving through rural areas represents entering unfamiliar or underdeveloped areas of your life. Hitting livestock can be symbolic of ignoring obstacles or disregarding the effect of your current path on others or yourself. It suggests clashes between your actions and the environment around you, possibly reflecting a need to stop and reassess your path before proceeding.
Giant Rock and Burying the Toy: The destination being a giant rock may symbolize a monumental challenge or goal. Burying a toy could reflect letting go of old habits, childhood issues, or something precious from the past. The act of burying under the light of shooting stars signifies hope and a willingness to move forward or transform.
Unanswered Questions: The unanswered questions regarding the moons, stars, and the rush to bury a toy point to unresolved issues or confusion in your life. It may signify a lack of clarity about your path, decisions, or the motivations of those influencing your decisions.
Overall, this dream seems to delve into themes of family influence, moving forward despite uncertainty, dealing with hidden emotions or duality, unpreparedness, and transformation. It encourages reflection on your emotional state, readiness for future endeavors, and the unconscious guidance you might be feeling from those around you.
